The first one

Procrastination. It has not been a long time since I discovered this word (I hope some of us definitely remember those days of TCS interview when we actually gobbled up nearly 200-300 words scripted on some shanty pages) and this is what most aptly describes my situation now. The much waited and coveted (:)) GATE was over a few days back and everything went as expected, (my preparation was enough to convince me of a massacre) my project seems like absolute crap, and my job seems running away to the wrong side of Atlantic (thanx to recession and Obama). Perfect time to open my mind up, I guess.

When you start to write a blog, the first thing that comes into your mind, is necessarily, what to write. That did not happen to me, quite amusingly. I have always tried to ponder everything that happens outside our daily world with an inquisitive mind. I don't know whether it is absolute foolishness, or an urge to project myself on the tomb of pseudo intellectualism, but I just can not help myself bothering about the things that are changing our country, our conceptions about society and civilization. May be, I bear the legacy of the 70's when the streets of Calcutta used to reverberate with ideas, some great, some not so great, but necessarily all of which failed to come out under the sun. Modern Bengali has moved away, literally progressed, from those days of sloppy ideas to a competitive world, where execution is the necessity, not ideas. To put it right, i don't have 'idea's, but I believe, I have some questions, which deserves at least an inquisition inside everyone's mind, if not the answers.

I would like everyone to share their views, criticize, praise or at least pay some attention to whatever crap I write here. That's a request, which I hardly believe, anyone would ever care for. Still, someday, somewhere, you have to start. My journey starts here, and I don't know, if I can expect some companions in this not so enjoyable joyride. Bon voyage.
